The weather this past week or two has been wild in utah, but it's to be expected for april here right? It'll be windy, sunny, hot, cold, rainy, the list goes on & on. Oh, & that would be all in one day :)

But because the weather has been so unexpected the last little while, it's been hard to decide what to wear in case you get caught in a windstorm, or it's like the middle of somewhere heat 20 minutes later! Here are some of my favorites that we've gotten in recently, & I think they are a good medium for this crazy utah weather.

For this post I decided to focus on a couple of my very favorite pieces in the store right now. Sometimes all you need to make a fabulous outfit is the tiniest details to pull it all together.

the sweater dots mixed with the maxi pattern are beautiful! pullover $64 skirt $36 necklace $54

the pattern on this maxi is stunning. the colors mixed together are a perfect combo of winter into spring-wear. it has two slits in the front & a part slip.

this sweater is perfect. I don't know what more I can say :) it can be mixed with tons of patterns since the dots are subtle, & the 3/4 sleeve is just meant for this time of year.

kris nations has done it again. this necklace is fit for an everyday look by also adding a touch of sparkle to every ensemble.

Mixing patterns can be so fun, especially when you have cute clothes to do it with! What are your favorite patterns & colors to mix?

The weather lately has been absolutely fantastic. It's totally given me spring fever! I'm sure (knowing Utah) we might be in for a couple of surprise snow storms, but right now, I'm bringing out my spring clothes & enjoying the sunshine & warmth!

this year is the year of simplicity for me! and that includes my clothes. i've cleaned out my closet and narrowed down the things that i still need. shopping for fun is always my favorite hobby. but this year i'm shopping with a purpose. only buying things that i love and things that make sense with my wardrobe. i want a simple, classic, yet funky look. so today i have some great, simple, classic pieces and silhouettes that every girl needs :)

New Year's Eve is one of the best celebrations in my opinion. It is celebrating new beginnings & new chances with new opportunities!
