hey everyone! today i have a yummy recipe to share with you. i call them power bites, but i've heard others call them energy balls. either way, they are delicious and you should go make them right now!
not only do these taste amazing but they are so good for you. and not to mention, so easy to make! i usually eat one before i work out or when i want a little treat.
so here's how you make them...
mix together the following ingredients
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 cup coconut flakes
1/2 ground flaxseed
1 tsp (or two!) vanilla
after you've mixed all of this together put the bowl in the fridge for about 30 minutes. then all that's left to do is roll them into one inch balls and enjoy! you can store them in a container in the fridge for up to two weeks. they are seriously my favorite snack. you can also add a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, raisins, or nuts if you like.
