Step by step, here we go!
First, make sure your mug is clean and dry.
Second.. Paint! Do whatever design your heart desires. The one pictured is chevron.. so cute. Squeezing the paint straight out of the tube and onto the porcelain works best. If you mess up just wipe the paint away with a wet paper towel. For safety don't paint inside the mug as some porcelain paints are not safe when contacted with food.
& Finally, once you’ve finished your art let the paint dry for 24 hours. Then, bake your mug according to the paint package instructions. After baking turn off the oven and leave the mug inside until it gradually cools to room temperature. After you bake it the paint is dishwasher safe!
& there you have it! Your house guests will die over your masterpiece, wondering where you got it. Then you can proudly say you made it yourself!
But most importantly.. just have fun with the project. Bragging is simply a bonus :)
