I bought some clear fillable balls at a tag sale even tho they were stored for a long time and in original boxes, there was dust kitties inside as well as out. I thought they would be easier to clean than they've proven to be. The small balls have such small openings that even turned over the rinse water stays inside and eventually leave water marks.............HELP!!! There were maybe 5 or so that the paint separated and dried funky, but I let them cure for several months and then coated the insides with goldetallic paint and it stuck just fine. No problem with the paint chipping off at all. I did invert them over night to let all the excess paint drip out. Globs of paint may be causing it to pull away. Mine came out a bit different as the paint would not mix properly. I shook the ornament and left them upside down to dry overnight. They are really pretty! It also recommended against metallic paint saying it doesn't stick. I haven't tried this yet, but I plan to. The longer time goes on, the more tiny spaces I notice showing up. I tried putting more paint in to fill those gaps, but more are forming. I used acrylic paint....I don't know what I did wrong. :(JoJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18165375435543044068noreply@blogger.com
