All of you at the Soel Swap this past Saturday!

We hope you had as much fun as we did. We all made a little money and spent a little money. My most favorite find was a white Michael Stars shirt for $6 that I will be living in this summer.

 There were Citizen of Humanity jeans for $25, Hobo Bags for $40, Frye boots, and racks upon racks of tees, tanks, and dresses as low as $2 each.

Some things were hard to let go of but it had to be done.

If you aren't familiar with what the Soel Swap is this is how it works...

About twice a year Soel sets aside a Saturday from 11-1pm for anyone to come and bring their used clothing, shoes, and accessories to sell. Each indivual is in charge of their own items; pricing, hanging, setting up, and selling.

If you don't want to sell anything you can come shuffle through everyone's items, grab a snack, and go home with some sweet deals.

Before you buy little clothes for your little ones you probably have to buy extra big ones for yourself. Rachael has always loved Michael Stars and being able to wear these flowy styles makes getting dressed in the morning a lot more enjoyable.

Lots of coverage and only one layer. What more could you ask for as a pregnant woman in the summer heat?  Maybe the perfect knit skirt--- like the LA Made knit skirt. Done.

We get very excited for Chronicle Book shipments. We always know Shelby has found a new and exciting book, journal, or card set to carry and we all get to "oooh and ah" over it. Like these....

If you are planning any kind of party, just picture with me how gorgeous these cupcake cups would be sitting on this cake platter from Tag. It even comes with pastry bags and tips and a book so you can decorate them and people will ask, "Where did you get these?" and you can say, "I made them." and they will probably say, "No way." And we have all had this converstaion before haven't we? :)

Craft Night

 We had tons of fun at Craft Night last week. Shelby did an amazing job guiding everyone along. The treats were delicious and we had really great oilcloth and linings to choose from. The sewing machines were going nonstop and everyone got at least one bin completely finished. (Scroll down to see the finished product.)

  Too bad you can't see everyones face. They are all smiling. Pretty sure. :)
